"On the visitor front, the show saw a return to pre-recession form. I found new customers and 50% more new leads compared with the last sessions, which is great for me! Visitors were particularly interested in value for money and sure-fire designs. An important point about the Trends area: our customers needed to be reassured about their choices and aspirations rather more than usual; the Trends Area was a significant factor in their decision-making and everyone benefited. A third of customers came to my stand because they had spotted my pieces in the Trends Area. The final positive point is the active and visible presence of journalists at the exhibition. Those I met on my stand were very interested and asked some in-depth questions about my products."
